Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Randall earned his Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education located in Richmond, Virginia in May of 2005. He was ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and installed as our pastor in October of the same year.
Prior to God’s call into full time ministry, Pastor Randall served his hometown in Virginia as a deputy sheriff and later a police officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University.
He enjoys spending time with his wife Mary, and his three children Kemp, Caroline, and Sarah.
His favorite Scripture is Ephesians 2:4-8, “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ- by grace you have been saved- and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” (English Standard Version)
Pastor Randall believes that worship should be enthusiastic and enjoyable. He also feels that sermons must be grounded in the Bible and meaningful to today’s Christians. Pastor Randall nurtures the concept that the church is a family and that all people are welcomed into the family of God.
