Pastor Randall earned his Master of Divinity from the Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Virginia, in May 2005. He was ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and began his ministry as our pastor in October of that same year.
Before answering God’s call to full-time ministry, Pastor Randall served his community as a deputy sheriff and police officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Outside of his ministry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, and their three children: Kemp, Caroline, and Sarah. Pastor Randall is a firm believer that worship should be both enthusiastic and joyful, and that sermons must remain deeply rooted in Scripture while staying relevant to modern life. He is dedicated to the idea that the church is a family where everyone is truly welcome.
Favorite Scripture: “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved... For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:4-8 (ESV)
